Engine Splash Shield Vibration Test Fixture

Our goal was to design and build a vibratory fixture to hold the test sample in the vehicle position. The Engine Splash Shield Vibration Test Fixture had to be rigid enough, while maintaining a weight limit of 100lbs for ease of setup and mobility, to not add resonance within 0 to 650hz.

While still meeting with our customers’ (a global leader/expert in the filtration industry) requirements some other features and benefits we were able to provide to our customer:

In the end, our design was a test fixture, that was able to split in half and realigned with ease, met or exceeded all of our customers’ requirements.
